So how does one make use of the shared recognizer without the involvement of the MS Speec app.

Have developed a speech app using a shared recognizer. When the application starts, the MS Speech UI appears and my app received no callbacks unless MS Speech is placed in 'listen' mode.

So how does one make use of the shared recognizer without the involvement of the MS Speec app.
