Author: maxr
Subject: 146
Posted: 09/Dec/2009 at 5:07am

I just released Show Numbers Plus! for Naturally Speaking Preferred/Professional. In a nutshell, it adds the "Show Numbers" command once only available for WSR. You can see a video of it in the links below. I've been contemplating making it work with WSR as well. I know this might sound crazy because WSR already has this command, but I wanted to see if there were any improvements people would like to see. I can add anything and we don't have to wait for microsoft to update "show numbers". I can do it easily and have new functionality added and released in just a few days. If you have any ideas, let me know. If you think I should make it work with WSR, please tell me and I'll do it. If there is no demand, I won't.

One thing my version has is the 'Show Taskbar" command which I don't think WSR has and my version is a little more customizable (transparency levels and fade can be disabled). My version also color codes the controls. I think that's it as far as differences go but I've never used WSR so you'll have to tell me if there is something missing.

Anyways, thanks a ton. I'm a huge proponent of speech recognition and I'm actively working on new software to really leverage speech recognition. I'll let you know when new products are available. 2010 is going to be a big year for speech recognition!!

<span ="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb0, 0, 0; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: medium; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-trans: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px;"><span ="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: collapse; font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 17px;">
Video
http://www.ergoarchitect.com/shownumbersplus_video...<span ="ext" style="-: http://www.speechcomputing.com/sites/all/modules/ext/ext.png; -repeat: no-repeat; padding-right: 12px; -: 100% 50%;">

Product Page
http://www.ergoarchitect.com/ShowNumbersPlus.html

Max Roth
Computer Engineer in Human Computer Interfacing
ErgoArchitect Assistive Technologies
Website: www.ergoarchitect.com
Email: support@ergoarchitect.com
